In July 2022 I started as a product designer in the Simyo team through the consulting firm Paradigma Digital (INDRA). Simyo is one of Orange Spain's low-cost telecom brands.
The cliente wanted a relaunch of it's application by making some improvements to it's purchasing flows and changing it's visual interface and improving the speed of it's technology.
My Role
Together with the team of developers at Paradigma Digital (INDRA), two designers entered with the aim of renewing the image and the usability of the Simyo application.
To begin, we carried out this first benchmark to see what state the applications of the main competitors in the Spanish telecommunications market were in.

Library
We created an "UI KIT" to start to make first approach with the cliente around colors, fonts, images, shadows, buttons, menus, grid, spacing, etc.
All these elements were created in a document called "Library" in which we were working on various componentes in order to have greater aesthetic and functional consistency of the application.
In this way we managed to gain speed when building the different sections of the application and make it easier for development to reuse common elements.

To define all these aspects we were holding meetings with Simyo's internal team. Defining the foundations from the beginning would help us build a much more solid visual system and leave a deliverable for the client that anyone else can consult at a later time.
The tool proposed for the client was Figma.
